During the period of growing up, most often we are told by our teachers and parents that we can be anything, if we wish to be so. Slowly but certainly we encounter with the reality. “Big dreams come with big baggage” is the famous adage that our parents or teacher might leave out for us.
We all look up at the
successful icons, wondering at their triumphs. We study and read their success stories and try to imitate their journey. But the true fact is that, it takes
years, even to get a shot at their dreams. Even then also, it is not guaranteed
that you will be able to reach the goal.
If beaten down, you
will be disappointed, and your dream will never knock at your door. The path to success is not an opportunity. It is full of ditches, potholes and apparently
insurmountable mountains
Success is not a opportunity,
a passage, littered with ditches, potholes, and apparently
undefeatable mountains. It’s not the moments of success that helps us to find
out what we are, rather the moments when we are torn by the adversities that we
can mould ourselves.
How dream can be attained
The obstacles on the way to your dreams, can be mitigated in a most successful way. These are:
Reframe the definition of failure
When you transform your failures into time the failing can’t be the define your success. So, it is better to celebrate that
you tried rather than being sorry for your failure. Evaluate what you had done
in the past and reconstruct taking lessons from the what went before.
Only work
and walk for the next milestone
Set small targets and attain it. Now set the
another milestone. Focus on just the next target. Never look at the mountain
peak as your goal. If you don’t look at your feet, you will never reach the
goal. Real progress is the short time wins. By winning the every short distant
post, you will win the long distant dream goal.
Surround
yourself with people who challenge you
The people with whom you spend time matters.
Mix and interact with the quality people, you will the improvement. Invest your life to those people who challenge you. These people will make better. But make
sure that those people are challenging you positively.
