Introverts are often misunderstood. Their way of thinking is
different from the normal people. Not only that, they also act differently,
even their outlook is different in their
course when interacted with people.
But there are a lot of misapprehension regarding the conception of be introverted.
First:
Introverts are looked to be shy
The two words “shy” and “introvert” are not alike. The introverts
are shy not for the people around. They just don’t like to share anything with
the other people.
Second:
Introverts
are without emotion
Introverts may be inexpressive to what you are saying, but that
doesn’t mean that they are not interested in what you are saying. They like to manage
their emotions about the people around.
Third:
Introverts scare to make eye to eye contact
Normally, the introverts don’t make eye to eye contact like extroverts. The
reason is that they feel it useless to take part in social norms.
Fourth:
All introverts are poor public speakers
Even if some of the introverts are naturally gifted public speaker, some of them avoid speaking in big group of
settings. Instead, they spend more time in
preparing for speeches and presentations.
Fifth:
Introverts just prefer
living alone
While it is true that introverts prefer to invigorate themselves staying in some quiet place and spending quiet time reading or reflecting, they
also long for human communication and enjoy the company of others, of course
they are choosy to pick friends.
Sixth:
Introverts
over analyze facts
Introverts are the great analyzers. They like to evaluate every situation and think
about all the possible circumstances before plunge into decisions. Sometimes
this can lead to failure, but the positive side of it is that it allows them to
make a right decision with a coherent stream of thought.
Seventh:
Introverts avoid going out in public
This allegation is also not true. It is true that the introverts are not comfortable in crowded spaces, but they love to be in new places, interact
with the new people, and like to perceive new things.
Eightieth:
Introverts
are underachieving
As we are habituated to meet the personable, charismatic, extroverted leader, some people take for granted that introverts can’t be a
good achievers like the extroverts. However, there are many introverts
throughout the world who are scientists,
physicians, artists, philosophers and
writers. Achievement is not connected to
personality type.
Have you ever been misunderstood the introvert? Hopefully you will
start to understand them very closely.
