Why we lose motivation once in a while and how to fix it forever



If you are struggling with motivation, then you are not alone. Yes, it is not quite hard to drive back your motivation for ever.

The short time cures like taking a break, listening to stimulating songs, consuming energy drinks work for a while. They are not so effective long term results.
If you really intend to stay motivated, you need to understand what is your most favored drives.

Find the common symptoms of loss of motivation that might be the cause behind the problem.

·        Getting bored with your routine life

Feeling tired and sick of whatsoever you are doing is an indication that your motivation is declining. You feel tired of doing something round the clock, in your workplace, home or in the office.

·        Sensing like you can’t make a change

It happens that you began a venture with full of trust and eagerness, expecting to change the world by contributing your talents and efforts. Such feelings might leave you frustrated, you feel like doing meaningless things. 

·        Being unsatisfied with what you have done

If you are perfectionist, failing to reach the perfection is the clear cause of loss of motivation. Many of us already think before performing any project that like other project,  it will also be a failure. It pulls down our motivation. We should focus on our effort and try to do the best.

·        Feeling stressed about what you’re doing.

Do you regularly feel stressed and overwhelmed by your workload? When your work is causing you agonize, you’re more likely to keep away from it, which creates a sadistic cycle or anxiety and enthusiasm lost.

In addition to apparent killers of motivation, there are 3 hidden killers of motivation. These are:

Lack of purpose:

You need to care about your doing, or else you will never be motivated. Find out why you should do the work. Or you may change your focus to what you like to do.  You must have some definite purpose and that purpose will motivate you.


Setting a goal higher than your capacity will make you give up your effort. Rather, set an achievable goal and enjoy achieving it soon.

Trying to please everybody

It’s never possible to make all  happy every time. Focus on your purpose and strength and do what you feel is right. Never change yourself  to appeal to others.
